The SIGMA MODELLING TECHNOLOGY developed by SEISQUARE consists in best combining well and seismic data to compute accurate reservoir MODEL and attach an ACCURACY INDEX for each output RESERVOIR MODEL.

The UDOMoRe compass runs on this SIGMA TECHNOLOGY. It will guide you and show you how to best choose and validate the MODEL you need for the RESERVOIR OPERATION.

The computation of the MODEL ACCURACY INDEXES is derived from the stochastic modelling RESERVOIR , meaning that:
- The well and seismic DATA
o The spatial correlation between well and seismic DATA is modelled under the constraints of underlying geophysical laws This interpretation is done from the modelling of the experimental variogram computed and power spectrum computed from the DATA into a sum of spatial components related to the “SIGNAL” or to the “NOISE”
- The conventional “SIGNAL” and “NOISE” parts are best estimated from the DATA using factorial kriging algorithms
o Best estimation means that kriging minimize the variance of the unknown error between the unkown “TRUE SIGNAL” and the kriged estimate.
o The minimized kriging variance is then used for computing QUALITY INDEXES attached to the “KRIGED SIGNAL” and “KRIGED NOISE”
- The result of the SIGMA PROCESSING is the output fro each input DATA of the optimized conventional “SIGNAL” and its attached “QUALITY INDEX”
